The layout segments on the picture below were the first three segments I built. In the beginning I had some problems with the seams between the segments, and they are quite visible here even if I later have made some efforts to hide them. On the newest segments I have managed to hide the seams much better.
A kiosk and a petrol station are also placed here. I have replaced the kiosk with a new one of the same kind since last time I had my layout set up. The old one was from my childhood and was rather worn.
Near the school there is an old ruin. This Faller ruin model is very small, so I have added some extra ruin parts to the left of it. The school building is actually the Auhagen Klingenberg-Colmnitz station, but I think it is very suitable as a school.
